The Faculty of Law Is Accepting Applications for the New Master's Programme in English Until Half of July!

Would you like to study at the Faculty of Law at Palacký University? Are you capable of studying in English? Did you choose the new two-year Master’s programme “International and European Law“? If you replied yes to all of these questions, you can start completing the online application form at: The deadline for submission of the application is 15 July 2016.

This new study programme is unique in the Czech Republic due to its specialisation and accreditation. The first group of students will begin studying in September. This state-accredited Master’s degree programme lasts two full-time years and is addressed primarily to foreign students. The main predisposition for acceptance is having a Bachelor's degree diploma in Law or similar field of study and knowledge of the English language. “We hope that its interesting features and the study content itself will attract prospective foreign students. We offer the possibility of spending part of one's studies at one of our Erasmus+ Partner institutions or undertaking contracted internships and excursions,“ says Martin Faix, Vice-Dean for International Affairs. The core courses are formed by standard subjects targeting International and European law. The broad choice of elective courses will help students achieve their specialisation.

The Faculty of Law invites outstanding students to apply for the one-year Excellence Scholarship. The study programme has been accredited until the end of 2019. Up to 30 students may study at one particular grade.
