A Minute’s Silence for African Students

Rector of Palacký University Olomouc invites the academic community from all faculties to observe a minute’s silence on Monday 27 April 2015, 12:00 CET in remembrance of the victims of the terrorist attack at Garissa University in Kenya on Thursday 2 April. During the attack, 147 students were killed and 79 wounded. Palacký University Olomouc joins the initiative of the European University Association to condemn any form of violence against education.
