Essential Qualification & Experience:

• University education in the discipline of Classical Languages
• 3 years' pedagogical/academic work experience
• Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Classical Languages
• sufficient publication activity in the discipline
• experience of preparing editions of Latin texts
• competence in the field of antique, medieval Latin and early modern literature and cultural history of Antiquity and the Middle Ages
• prerequisites for further pedagogical and academic-research advancement (e.g. commencement of habilitation process within the foreseeable future)
• experience of research projects
