Theatre
The Theatre K3, situated in the attic of the Art Centre, is primarily a stage for students at the Department of Theatre, Film and Media Studies.
In 2006 students established an ensamble Theatre Konvikt (Divadlo Konvikt), which uses the stage of the Theatre K3 (Divadlo K3). Members of the ensamble, who are students or alumni of the Palacký University, organize workshops, scenic readings, introduce performances of guest ensembles and in co-operation with Divadlo na Cucky put on their own performances. The Theatre Konvikt organizes the festival Improvisation Week (Týden improvizace) and takes part in the projects of Theatre Flora (Divadelní flora) and Crossroads (Křižovatky).
Since 2007, there has been annual spring international festival Labyrinths of Acting (Labyrinty herectví), which focuses on performances and analyses of the theatrical language of European actor schools. The festival involves performances, workshops, seminars with participation of students, teachers and experts.
